It is time to get ready for this year's Moundsville Rotary Flags for Heroes program. You can purchase subscriptions to honor your hero(es) for the year for $60 each. The flags will be in front of John Marshall High School for each of the 6 patriotic holidays - Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot's Day, and Veteran's Day. Moundsville Rotarians and Scouts from Troops 79 and 82 will put the flags up before each holiday and take them down after.
A hero can be military, a first responder, a family member, a teacher, or anyone who is a hero in your life. They will be recognized on social media and the Moundsville Echo.
To enroll in the program, return the attached form, completed, and $60 for each hero to Moundsville Rotary, P. O. Box 213, Glen Dale, WV 26038. Make your check out to "Moundsville Rotary" and put "Heroes" in the memo.
