How many people were old enough to vote in Wetzel County during 2021?

Of the 14,629 citizens living in Wetzel County in 2021, 79.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 11,648 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 5,626 were male, constituting 48.3%, and 6,022 were female, making up 51.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Wetzel County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 79.7%.
