FirstEnergy will be performing transmission line work throughout the City of Weirton this year. Below is a map of lines outlining the maintenance that will be completed. The maintenance that is being performed is highlighted in pink, with pushpins detailing the road crossings.
This maintenance may start as early as 1-2 months from now. All property owners that own property on the rights of ways will be notified of work on their property. This is just an extra notice to that work will be going on in the area. They expect that their work will most likely be wrapped up before the end of the summer.
