Census Bureau: More men than women in Bethany in 2019

Of the 1,022 people living in Bethany in 2019, 40.2 percent (411) were women and 59.8 percent (611) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Panhandle Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 569-to-364. In the 65 and over age range, there were 38 females and 29 males.
