30 percent of applicants to B M Spurr School of Practical Nursing were admitted for fall 2018

At B M Spurr School of Practical Nursing, 57 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 89 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private not-for-profit school in Glen Dale enrolled 36 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

82 percent of undergraduates are residents of West Virginia, and 18 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as white (97 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).

The school admitted 30 percent of the 23 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 86 percent enrolled.
