Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) has announced the relocation of its Weirton office to the Community Bread Basket facility. This move is intended to enhance CCWVa’s ability to serve individuals and families in the Northern Panhandle by providing increased access to support services.

Both organizations will remain independent, but the shared space aims to improve collaboration and offer greater convenience for clients seeking assistance. At the new location, Catholic Charities West Virginia will continue offering its core services, such as emergency financial assistance and other resources designed to address poverty and promote stability.

Mark Phillips, President and CEO of Catholic Charities West Virginia, stated, “We’re grateful for the opportunity to relocate our office to such a welcoming and mission-aligned space. By working alongside Community Bread Basket, we can offer our services in a more accessible location while continuing to walk with our neighbors in need with dignity and love.”

Community Bread Basket will maintain all its programs and outreach efforts as usual. The co-location provides a new base for CCWVa’s Weirton team as they continue their work throughout Hancock and Brooke Counties.

Catholic Charities West Virginia is recognized as the largest private social service provider in the state, serving all 55 counties. It offers compassionate care annually to tens of thousands of people regardless of faith or background. More information can be found at www.ccwva.org.
